This comment was rational. Tom is a great thinker, legislator and if he could run as a Real Pub in a Congressional district where he would not be questioned about carpetbagging or slick electioneering, that would be two for two. Oller and Tom defeating their Dem opponents. If this could be done; it would be best for the Party as well as the district and our Congressional caucus in Ca. I have met and questioned Tom over many years and he is a great man and should have been governor.
No doubt, I like Tom McClintock, and hell, he should at least be Lt. Governor right now, if not Governor. (And I’d love to see Harman at least given a real race, if not knocked out of Congress, if you could do that, perhaps that district could be un-gerrymandered so that it doesnt have to protect a Dem Incumbent anymore)
